Emma Lou (Ewing) Horn was absent from the body and present with her Lord Jesus Christ on February 19, 2025, at 4:20 p.m. surrounded by her family. She lived a life rooted in faith. Lou was a woman of unwavering belief, whose love for the Lord shone through every aspect of her life. She found joy in prayer, strength in scriptures, and peace in the promise of eternal life. She raised her sons and grandchildren in the ways of the Lord, teaching them to love, serve, and trust Him always. She was a loyal member of The Good News Pentecostal Church in Mt. Vernon, IL. Toward the end of her life she found comfort in verses such as Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint". Also, 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith". She now rests in the arms of the Savior, free from pain and sorrow, rejoicing in
