Jimmie Lee Brown, 87, of Albion Illinois, passed away on February 11, 2025 at Fairfield Senior Living in Fairfield, Illinois.
Born in Phillipstown, Illinois on April 24, 1937, Jim was the son of Walter and Genevieve (Johnson) Brown. He served his country in the U.S. Army. On January 3, 1967, he married his beloved Earlean at Conway Church in Ellery, Illinois. They enjoyed many happy years together until her passing on June 5, 2024.
Jim was a skilled welder who owned Jim Brown Welding and Son. He enjoyed welding and his specialty was welding gas pipelines. He was a member of Browns Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a member of the NRA and the American Legion. He enjoyed visiting with everyone and he never met a stranger. He loved hunting. Most of all, he loved his family and loved spending time with his great grandchildren.
