55 year old Ellery resident, Alan Edward Mann, passed from this life to the next on January 1, 2025 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, Illinois.
Alan was born in Olney, Illinois on October 28, 1969, to John and Barbara (O'Daniel) Mann. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Albion, Illinois. Alan participated in Special Olympics and was proud of the many medals that he earned while competing. He was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America.
Alan is survived by his parents John and Barbara Mann, his brother, Justan (Amy) Mann of Taylorville, IL and his sister, Hillari (John) Brock of Albion. His nieces, Marlee Mann, Macy Mann, Ashten Brock and his nephew, Jordon Brock.
